Wellness Coaching
What is Wellness Coaching?Wellness Coaching is for women in midlife who are ready to make changes to their physical, emotional or spiritual health, and their relationships with others to create stability, optimum energy, peace and contentment in their lives. Often when these changes are made women experience a reduction in their perimenopausal symptoms as an added bonus. A wellness coach is trained to help you implement the changes you want in your life. As your personal wellness coach I promise to support you to create and achieve your optimum health and wellbeing. Wellness coaching is usually done on the telephone or in person depending on your location. I promise to inspire you to create the changes you want to achieve in your life. Midlife is often a period of intense demands, especially on women. In addition to the normal demands of everyday life, women are often also facing perimenopause in which their hormones are throwing a tornado into the mix. Finding balance in life, work, relationships and your health is extremely important to get through this time with optimum health and enjoyment. I will help you to manage your menopausal symptoms through various means, remove your personal barriers in order to create stronger relationships, work at managing parenting or marital conflicts, or improve your communication style to better express your needs and wants. If your needs go beyond the scope of a wellness coach I will suggest another professional such as a psychologist, pyschiatrist, social worker, marital therapist etc. With wellness coaching you are not only benefiting yourself, you are also helping those around you who live and work with you because when you are happier they are happier. So, if you don’t feel the need to do it for yourself, do it for them. Many people think they can "do it on my own" and I was one of those people. And sometimes you can. But I would like to ask you, "How is that working for you? Are you getting the results you want?" If the answer is no, then why not try something different for less than the cost of a treatment at an upscale hair salon. How do I know if I will benefit from a Wellness Coach? *Are you angry and don’t know why? *Are you feeling overwhelmed with the demands put on you? *Are others irritated with your mood swings? *Are you having difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep? *Are you feeling depressed and you don’t know why? *Are you experiencing an increase in your menopausal symptoms? *Are you struggling with weight gain especially around the mid section? *Are you having difficulty defining what you really want in life? *Are you feeling like time is running out and you still haven’t done what you want to do with your life? *Do you need support to manage the necessary changes in your life? How does wellness coaching work? Coaching is usually done on the telephone. Your first 30 minutes session is complimentary to ensure a good fit. I will work with you to identify your goals and outcomes and work with you to achieve them. I accomplish this through empathic listening, asking the right questions, assigning appropriate tests suited to your needs if required, and giving personally tailored homework assignments. Coaching works best if you make a commitment. The more energy you invest in the process the better the outcome. How much does wellness coaching cost? It depends on what your needs are which will be determined during the 30 minute free consultation. The basic package to change your life and health for the better will cost you less than you think. The price and time commitment are negotiable. Again, if you need another professional to help you, I will not hesitate to say so. Also, I fully guarantee what I do. If you are not completely satisfied I will give you a full refund. Email me at nursingm@nursingmenopause.com to set up an appointment for your free consultation or fill out the form below.
